PRECAST BUT TAILORED, ELEGANCE AND DURABILITY
‘Precast’ is a word you associate with rigidity and mass production. ‘Concrete’ is a material which makes you think of functionality but neither beauty nor subtly. This couldn’t be further from the truth with Topflight concrete staircases – each is based on a hand crafted mould made by master joiners.
COLOURED PRECAST CONCRETE STAIRCASES
We are sometimes asked if we can create coloured precast staircases or if they come in only grey! All of the custom precast staircases produced can be in any colour and can be further enhanced with an expose aggregate finish and/or pattern finish.
PATTERNED PRECAST CONCRETE STAIRCASES
There are literally hundreds of stamp patterns to choose from, ranging from slate, to brick, to cobblestone, to botanical and wildlife themes. Because today’s stamping mats are often moulded from the actual materials they mimic, they produce amazingly realistic results.
BALCONY & LANDINGS
Precast concrete landings can be designed as individual units or can be manufactured as complete precast stair flight and attached landing. Precast landings can be attached to the top or bottom of the precast stair flight or supplied with both top and bottom landings.
STRENGTH AND CHARACTER FOR YOUR CONCRETE STAIRCASES
When you imagine concrete, you’re unlikely to think of an attractive and unique staircase. But that’s exactly what we do at Topflight: using a unique moulding method we produce curved concrete staircases which can be made to fit the character of any house. This opens up an entire new world of layout possibilities for designers, architects, builders and home development enthusiasts.

CONCRETE STAIRS… FROM WOOD?
So how do we get a material like concrete to form bespoke shapes to order? The answer is in the moulding process. Some concrete moulds are inflexible – but not Topflight moulds! Our team includes master joiners who create fantastically detailed and customised wood moulds which the concrete is then poured into to create something entirely unique – a staircase with the durability and strength of concrete combined with the beauty of a master joiner’s craft.
